The third quarter of 2025 saw notable trends in the performance of the top carpooling and ridesharing apps on the Android platform in Ecuador. Data from Sensor Tower provides insights into the dynamics of weekly downloads and active users for these apps.

inDrive. Rides with fair fares experienced fluctuations in its weekly downloads, peaking mid-quarter at around 16.2K in the week of July 21. Active users showed varied trends, starting at approximately 741K and closing the quarter at about 693K, with noticeable dips and recoveries throughout.

Uber - Request a ride maintained steady weekly downloads, ranging from 4.8K to 9.6K. The app's active user base remained robust, starting at around 487K and peaking at roughly 571K in early September.

DiDi Rider: Affordable rides showed a relatively consistent download pattern, with numbers hovering between 2.7K and 3.6K. The active user count saw a gradual increase, reaching approximately 111K by the end of the quarter.

Uber - Driver: Drive & Deliver had stable download numbers throughout the period, varying between 2.0K and 2.3K. Active users showed a slight decline, from around 30.4K at the start to approximately 29.2K at the end.

Finally, DiDi Driver: Drive & Earn Cash experienced consistent downloads, ranging from 589 to 806 weekly. The active user count slightly decreased over the quarter, ending with about 14.8K.
